Guidelines for the Helpline Committee from A.A. World Services

Our first contact with A.A. is usually with the recovering person who answers the helpline phone. When anyone anywhere reaches out for help we direct callers to the closest appropriate meeting or resource. This is a great way to serve the recovering community in your P.J.s. Select a day and one of three shifts of your choice. Volunteers must have 2 years sober, the ability to "remote call access", (734) area code and be familiar with the geographic area.

Our primary purpose is to carry the AA message through the HelpLine, Committee Action & AA literature.
We wish to thank the local AA groups and those individual AA members that support the
Huron Valley Area Intergroup.
